Greta Asay

Graduate Student

My name is Greta Asay, and I am a (proud!) native of Salt Lake City, UT. After earning my bachelor’s degree in sociology from BYU, I wanted to continue my academic journey here and continue learning with and from the sociology department faculty and students. Sociology is my favorite way to study and appreciate the world, and I love being able to use research and theory to better understand people, their experiences, and their perspectives. My research interests broadly revolve around community, gender, sexuality, and family.
