Lauryn Wilde received her undergraduate education in editing and publishing, with a minor in the digital humanities. She loves sociology because it allows her to focus on real people and their experiences. Her research interests include perceptions of poverty and welfare in the US. She also has experience with computational methods (Python, R, and Stata). Outside of school, Lauryn loves spending time with her husband and two kids. She enjoys board games, hiking, crossword puzzles, and good food.
