CONGRATULATIONS 2020 GRADUATES!! It has been such a pleasure to work and learn with so many of you these past two years! I will be celebrating with you all (from a safe distance) and wish you great success in your post-graduate adventures. Please keep in touch!

Congratulations to all of our wonderful graduates. We are so proud of you for your accomplishments and are grateful for the opportunity we have had to associate with you these last few years. Best wishes for a happy and fulfilling future.

Dear graduating Sociology majors and minors! Congratulations on all your hard work. I know it is disappointing that we could not hold traditional ceremonies this year but I am so incredibly proud of each one of you and hope you keep in touch. You have taught me lessons that will last a lifetime. Wishing you all the very best.

Congratulations graduates! It has been an honor to work with such amazing students. I wish you the very best in all of your future endeavors. I’m confident that you will make a positive and meaningful impact on the world.

I’m so excited for you all to move onto another stage of life. I only wish it were under better circumstances. Congratulations for finishing your undergraduate career—it is a difficult endeavor and a major life accomplishment. I’m glad that I had a chance to meet many of you and I believe you have bright futures ahead.

Congratulations on your graduation! We are so proud of you and all your hard work. I know you’re the perfect people to take your knowledge and skills into this new world we’re facing and help make it an even better one. Celebrate yourself and all your accomplishments!

Congratulations graduates! I’m so sorry that we will not be able to see you off in person. Please take solace in the fact that sociology graduates are uniquely qualified to head into and change a world that is sorely in need of healing and change. I’m proud of you and eagerly await news of your numerous future accomplishments.

Dear Seniors,
Congratulations! It was a pleasure to teach and get to know you. The world needs your skills and determination, and I am certain each of you has great things ahead. Take time now (and in the future when we can all get together) to celebrate all you have accomplished.

Congratulations on the completion of your degree. I want to take this opportunity to let you know how proud I am of you. I hope you take some time celebrate the completion of this milestone. There will, no doubt, be additional challenges (and opportunities to celebrate) ahead, but I’m sure that you’re up to whatever lies ahead. I wish you well in all your future endeavors.

Congratulationson graduating! Despite the less than ideal circumstances, you deserve to feel good about what you have accomplished with all your work over the last several years. You have been great students to work with! I will miss seeing you and hope you stay in touch. I love receiving emails from students years after they graduate. Whether it is just to keep contact or to share some insight they have, I look forward to it and end up learning from my past students. Keep caring about people and thinking about life!

Congratulations, graduates! What a pleasure it has been to get to know you, work with you and learn about your plans, hopes and dreams. We are celebrating this accomplishment with you as well as all those that lie ahead. We wish you the very best!

What a time to graduate! One thing I am confident about, our sociology students are problem solvers. We present you with all the thorniest, most difficult problems we know of in the field and give them to you to plot a way forward. To me, there is nothing more challenging or fulfilling than to dedicate your time understanding the human experience in all its complexities. The tools of sociology should help you face uncertainty with compassion, rigor, and an intrinsic focus on helping others that I think will find its way into wonderful opportunities. The world needs you, even if it feels a little unclear at the moment. I will miss saying goodbye, but we all hope to be your permanent mentors going forward, reach out if you need a little guidance!
